Hanna arrives: Gustav departs

(01:13) Report

Sep. 3 - Tropical Storm Hanna has already triggered severe flooding in Haiti, while Cuba continues to clear up from Hurricane Gustav.

Tropical Storm Hanna was located some distance away from Haiti over the southeastern Bahamas, but it was a large, messy storm and Haitian meteorologists said heavy rains falling over the country were an indirect result of Hanna.

Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

SOUNDBITE: Farmer Alfredo Padron, saying (Spanish):
"Here it didn't leave a yuca, here in the field it didn't leave anything. This is land is ruined, all the crops, completely. The one thing that remains is what I have said - the strength to continue forward and we have to continue."
