Ike batters Cuba and threatens U.S.
Sep 8 - Hurricane Ike has moved off the Cuban coast and over the warm waters of the Caribbean.
The deadly hurricane lost some of its power over Cuba -- but still caused widespread damage..to Cuba's sugar fields, its coffee trees and its nickel industry.
