Ike moves over Gulf, threatens Texas
Sep. 10 - Hurricane Ike made its way over the Gulf of Mexico late Wednesday, as forecasters warned the storm could hit the central coast of Texas Saturday.
Bracing for the storm, Texas residents boarded up their homes and buildings.
