Sep 16 - Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy sent shock waves across Asia Tuesday, as much of the region came back from holiday to financial sector turmoil.
The U.S. brokerage's Japan unit planned to follow the parent and file for protection from creditors, while among Asian creditors, Japan's Aozora Bank, and other banks like Mizuho, MUFJ and Sumitomo faced a brutal sell-off on investor financial sector jitters.
