Sep 19 - Global financial turmoil is a factor for candidates vying to be Japan's next prime minister Monday and may affect the timing of a national vote.
The LDP election next week to select Japan's next premier is seen as a prelude to a national vote that local media report will come in late October, but candidates note on-going world market crises and Japan's weak economy and front-runner Taro Aso says a Japan-wide election may not come so soon.
