Oz rate cut lifts Asia
Oct 7 - A large Australian interest rate cut lifted regional share markets from lows on hopes of more action to counter financial turmoil.
Investor losses mounted early after a Wall Street slide overnight, but a Reserve Bank of Australia cut by a full point lifted Sydney and Asian markets from lows.
