Icelanders face up to banking chaos

Oct 8 - Icelanders in shock after their small nation finds itself at the centre of the global financial crisis.

Iceland has been forced to prop up its stricken currency, the crown, take over the country's second-biggest bank and ask Russia for a loan of 4 billion euros as the country's financial system has been plunged into chaos.
