Taxpayers' stake in UK banks
Oct 8 - There's been mixed reaction from the markets, analysts and the public to Britain's many-layered, multi-billion dollar bank bailout package.
Investors gave a mixed reaction to a government bailout of Britain's banks that could add up to a widely-reported 880 billion dollars.
Eight UK banks are getting an initial capital injection of $88 billion dollars but other elements in the overall rescue package could total hundreds of billions.
