Detroit to get merger help?
Oct 27 - Automakers could get a cash injection from Washington, in an effort to save the ailing companies.
A source told Reuters the U.S. government is considering financial options to help a merger between General Motors and Chrysler. Both companies have declined to comment on the possibility of government aid.
