Dec 24 - Asian shares edged lower Wednesday in holiday-thinned trading, with regional car and parts makers hit on plummeting demand.
Toyota fell after forecasting its first ever loss of $1.7 billion, while tyre-maker Bridgestone slumped after cutting its operating profit forecast for the year to $1.3 billion.
