International Gaza protests

Jan 02 - Thousands of protesters take to the streets in Asia and the Middle East to protest against the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

The attacks have killed at least 400 people and wounded thousands. They were launched by Israel to put an end to rocket fire from Hamas which intensified after the group ended its six-month ceasefire on December 19. Israel has been attacking targets in the Gaza Strip for seven days. Gaza is home to around 1.5 million people.
