Europeans protest Gaza offensive

Jan 10 - Several thousands of people across Europe protest against Israel's 15-day offensive in Gaza.

In Greece, Peace groups such as "Stop the War Coalition", residents and members of the Arab community gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Athens to show their anger over Israeli's military campaign in the Gaza strip.

100,000 people took part in the Paris demonstration according to organisers. Demonstrators shouted pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli slogans, carrying posters with pictures of Gaza victims.

In London, tens of thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets in the biggest public protest yet in Britain against the Israeli offensive in Gaza.
