At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured Wednesday - when plainclothes gunmen opened fire on a march in the Yemeni capital. The protesters -- who were demanding the immediate ouster of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh -- were attempting to reach an area beyond the district of Sanaa where protesters have been camped out since February. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) ANWAR AL NOMAIR, INJURED PROTESTER, SAYING: "We were marching peacefully, peacefully and they fired at us with bullets, we were peaceful, five or six of our friends fell beside me and we tried to pull them while they (pro government) fired and threw tear gas at us from the house." Reuters footage showed several injured protesters arriving at the field hospital at Sanaa University where protesters have set up camp. A deal to end Yemen's political standoff is expected to be sealed on Sunday in Riyadh, three months after thousands of Yemenis took to the streets to demand Saleh's ouster. Jon Decker, Reuters.
