May 30 - Republican Sarah Palin says she is still ''contemplating'' whether she will run for president in 2012. Deborah Gembara reports.

TV AND WEB RESTRICTIONS**NO ACCESS USA/CNN/AOL/YAHOO/WIRELESS**~ Asked whether she'd to run for the White House in 2012 --- Sarah Palin had this to say on this Monday. SOUNDBITE: Republican Sarah Palin saying (English): Oh, I think that any Republican candidate is very, very electable. I think that Americans are ready for true change, change to get our country back on the right tracks." REPORTER ASKING: "Does that mean you're interested in running? Are you going to run?" FORMER ALASKA GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN SAYING: "You know, we're still kind of contemplating that." She made her comments during a stop at the national archives in Washington, just one of many stops the former governor of Alaska is making on a campaign style bus tour of U.S. historical sites she has kicked off. Later in the day, she visited Mount Vernon, the home of first George Washington. The tour and other recent moves have only fueled speculation that Palin enter the slow-starting Republican race for the chance to challenge President Barack Obama in 2012. Deborah Gembara, Reuters.
