Thousands take to the streets of the Spainish capital on Sunday to protest what they say are inept politicians, bankers - and the country's economic crisis. Rallies began at six different locations in the city and were to converge in front of Congress. With more than 20 percent unemployment there was anger amongst many that politicians are out of touch. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) UNIDENTIFIED PROTESTER SAYING: "Politicians are sons of bitches, they need to find out we are here, so we have to go out because we have to show them the people are fed up." (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) JOSE LUIS, 29-YEAR-OLD DEMONSTRATOR SAYING: "What we are protesting against is their attitude, we don't like it, they ignore us when we are out here in the streets. We have a clear message, but they water it down, manipulate it and say other things. As they ignore us we have to continue coming out here to see if they finally listen." The rally was called by the M15 movement, named after Spain's first large protest this year on March 15. It comes a week after demonstrators removed their tents from Madrid's central Puerta del Sol Square where they had been camping for nearly a month. M15 now plans a series of demonstrations across Spain springing from local neighbourhoods. Sunita Rappai, Reuters
