Ice 33 may twenty ninth. New York became the sixth US state to about marriage sentences -- and he didn't them from Friday night. It's a cause for celebration among supporters of the mission. The senate voted 63 to 29 in favor of the new York state assembly house that through earlier in the day. But the new legislation went faux religious institutions and nonprofit groups with religious affiliations to officiate at such ceremonies. On the streets of New York City there will mixed reactions. Religiously speaking I I I know. God that -- didn't really have that intended to be as -- lives in the Bible. But then again. You know as long as they're praising god Jesus it doesn't matter that same sex. If someone loves someone doesn't matter what sex and I used to be able to you but each other table again I have all the benefits that. We had. President Barack Obama says he wants to advance gay rights and as promised progress but stopped short of openly backing the legalization of gay marriage. The state by state battle for same sex marriage is a contentious social issue in the US. Particularly ahead of next year's presidential and congressional elections -- Chapman. --
