Obama picked -- -- soldiers pour into the streets of Afghanistan's capital Kabul. This show of force comes a day after a suicide attack and a hotel frequented by foreign VIPs. And at least six insurgents stormed heavily guarded InterContinental Hotel on Tuesday. The raid killed ten Afghan civilians and police officials today. Some hotel workers believe the death toll is likely higher. I don't know all the colleagues were in the hotel during the night and it's not clear how many people were killed but I think that more or colleagues could have been killed because the security forces aren't letting us go inside the hotel. The attack came on the eve of an international conference where NATO and Afghan leaders will discuss the -- and international security forces. Next month NATO troops will hand over authority there Afghan counterparts in seven provinces. All foreign troops are expected to leave the country by the end of 2014. Andrew raven Reuters.
