****PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO WAS POSTED TO A SOCIAL NETWORKING WEBSITE AND CANNOT BE INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED BY REUTERS **** Syrians duck for cover as gun shots ring out in Hama. Tanks firing at rebels as government forces entered the city Sunday, killing at least 45 people. Amateur video shows smoke blanketing the city after the dawn attack that followed a month-long seige. Locals also said electricity and water had been cut. Protesters nationwide have been trying to oust President Bashar al-Assad since March. A local activist group reported last week that more than 1,600 have been killed since the revolt began. The city has a history of bloody uprisings - up to 30,000 were killed here when Bashar's father sent the military to quell an Islamist-led uprising in 1982. Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
