Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is shepherded into a hotel in Tripoli. He is visiting the Libyan capital in hopes of reaping new political and economic dividends now that the leadership of Muammar Gaddafi is over. The prime minister's arrival comes as fierce fighting continues in Gaddafi's hometown of Sirte. It is one of the last pro-Gaddafi strongholds, with the National Transitional Council forces controlling much of the nation. Erdogan is on a tour of several Arab Spring countries as part of a plan to boost Turkey's clout in the region. Jessica Gray, Reuters
