Morning in Tripoli - a day after one of Muammar Gaddafi's sons was captured trying to flee the embattled city of Sirte. Spent bullet casings cover the ground in Martyrs' Square - left after residents celebrated the news of Mo'tassim Gaddafi's capture. NTC officials say the deposed leader's security advisor has been taken to Benghazi for questioning. Tripoli residents hail the first arrest of a member of the Gaddafi family as a further sign of the near total collapse of the former ruler's regime. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) TRIPOLI RESIDENT MOHAMMED SALEH, SAYING: "It is fabulous news. It will secure the end of the tyrant family. It will help the feeling of security among the Libyan people." (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) TRIPOLI RESIDENT IBRAHIM BERBASH, SAYING: "His arrest is proof to the world that we will provide him with a fair trial. I hope it will be a fair trial and open for all Libyans, who suffered from his tyrannical family, to watch." The prolonged struggle to capture Sirte has delayed interim government attempts at political consolidation. It's also pushed back efforts to restart oil production - the lifeblood of the Libyan economy. Travis Brecher, Reuters
