The cute penguins are back just in time for Christmas. Sunday's (November 20) 'Happy Feet 2' premiere saw its London venue transformed into winter-wonderland for the film's younger fans. The many distractions allowed some of the film's stars to slip into a pre-premiere party almost unnoticed. Elijah Wood who plays Mumble, The Master of Tap, for the second time, said how much he enjoyed working on the film: SOUNDBITE Elijah Wood, actor, saying (English): "It's very gratifying, it's a very rewarding thing to record - you know we recorded everything over the course of a month and then a few different sessions peppered over the two years but then ultimately, two years passed and you see the entire thing come to life before your eyes, it's amazing." Actor Robin Williams who is also back for the penguin sequel revealed his inspiration for the voices of the two characters he plays - Ramon and Lovelace. SOUNDBITE: Actor Robin Williams, saying (English): "Just look at them - one is tiny and Hispanic and very Latino and the other is big and black. I based him on a guy in America named Al Sharpton, he's like a politician preacher guy. For me it's just fun. It's a blast cause we get to work in the same room as everybody else." In 'Happy Feet 2', Mumble, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly. Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Elijah Wood also talked about his next big film 'The Hobbit': SOUNDBITE Elijah Wood, actor saying (English): "Great, I just got back from New Zealand. I was there for about three and a half weeks, um extraordinary, incredible to go back. Wow to play that character again. It felt like a family reunion just catching up with everyone." 'Happy Feet 2' also stars Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara. The film opens in 3D in British cinemas on December 2. Mirja Mey, Reuters.
