It may be November, but Christmas cheer is in the air at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. The store unveiled its 2011 holiday window displays with a performance by the American Ballet Theater and a 3D light show. The snowflake projections create an illusion of snow gathered on the ledges. Bubbles float on the storefront and in the windows too, which showcase unique gowns created by 10 luxury designers hired by Saks, including Alexander McQueen and Marchesa. The light show and holiday-themed windows will be on display through Christmas, and are sure to delight visitors and even Santa himself. Elly Park, Reuters.
