GOP rivals vow to stay in race after Romney wins in New Hampshire

Jan. 10 - Mitt Romney scored a big win in New Hampshire, and while other GOP candidates suffered disappointing losses, all vowed to continue fighting as the GOP race moves to South Carolina. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

Thank you you have. History. Okay. Okay. Americans know that our future is brighter and better than these troubled times. We still believe in the hope. The promise. And the dream of America. We still believe in that shining city on the hill we know that the future of this country is better than eight or 9% unemployment. It's better than fifteen trillion dollars in debt. It's better than the misguided policies and broken promises of the last three years and the failed leadership of one man. The president has run out of ideas. Now is running out of excuses. Okay okay. Tonight we're asking the good people of South Carolina. Join the citizens of New Hampshire and 2012. The year he runs out of time. Okay. I have to chuckle when -- east. You and me as being danger arrests -- up. Okay. Okay. And they are telling the truth because we are dangers to this that. -- -- Ladies and I'd say third blaze is a ticket to ride ladies sit down. And I wanna stand up and I want is squarely the American people about this. Afghanistan is not our nation's future. And Iraq is not this nation's future. Our nation's future is now prepared we are to rise up as the American people and hit head on. The competitive challenges of the 21 century you know what I'm talking about. And this isn't about economics. And this is about education. And this is gonna play out. Over the Pacific. With countries and I hit it in the war. And all I can tell you tonight. Without any -- of hyperbole folks if we don't get our act together at home. We will see the end of the American century -- twentieth at the end we're not gonna let that happen our way. Faith in the American people. We can not only wipe out this deficit. We can not only rebuild this economy that we can not only have a strong America. Who stands up for the values that I just talked to. But we can do so in a huge victory. That will rally this country. To take on the great. Challenges we have course. I'm just South Carolina. Thank you again. Okay. With your help. As your spokesperson. Representing -- -- values. On behalf of our children our grandchildren. And our country I would do everything I can't. To win the opportunity to represent the view this fall in debating and then defeating Barack Obama. Thank you. It.
