Running for cover. Locals navigated smoke filled buildings as explosions rock the Syrian city of Homs. New video posted to a social media website which Reuters cannot independently verify purports to show mortar attacks on the city. Government forces have repeatedly targeted Homs, and last month said they had regained control of the one time rebel bastion. A blast left a hole in a child's bedroom and many of the city's buildings show a year of fighting. The uptick in violence this past week suggests they are struggling to keep their hold on the city Deborah Gembara, Reuters.
