May 12 - Huge crowd turns out for funeral of a woman killed in the twin blasts in Damascus. Deborah Lutterbeck reports

A funeral service in Damascus. Thirty-year-old Dima Farah was on her way to work when she was killed in an explosion in Damascus Thursday. A little-known militant group has claimed responsibility for the blasts that killed at least 55 people. Two suicide car bombers killed 55 people and wounded 372 in Damascus in the deadliest attacks in the Syrian capital since an uprising against President Bashar al-Assad began last March. The blasts further shredded a UN ceasefire declared in mid April which has failed to halt bloodshed Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
