A senior official cautioned that the election will not provide "the definitive signal of what happens next" in the euro zone debt crisis. After that news came out, British Finance Minister George Osborne said the Bank of England and the country's government will use new monetary policy tools to shore up their economy in the wake of the euro debt crisis.
