ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama traveled to Colorado on Sunday to meet families bereaved after a gunman went on a shooting rampage at a movie theater in a Denver suburb, killing at least 12 people and wounding 58 others. The victims, who ranged from age six to 51 years old, were killed in Aurora, Colorado, early on Friday when a gunman opened fire during a packed midnight premiere of the latest "Batman" film. A vigil is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday in front of Aurora City Hall, organized by civic, community and religious leaders. Obama's trip comes as investigators are deepening a probe into suspect James Holmes. He was arrested immediately after the fatal spree at the local multiplex by local and federal authorities. The mass shooting stunned the nation and evoked memories of the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, 17 miles from Aurora, where two students opened fire and killed 12 students and a teacher.
