Mitt Romney’s Olympics outlook, after meeting with David Cameron

July 26 – A day after Mitt Romney appeared to question Britain's readiness to host the Olympic Games, the Republican presidential candidate spoke more positively after a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron. Romney, the former chief executive of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002, had previously told a U.S. television network there were ''disconcerting'' signs and it was ''hard to know just how well it will turn out.''
