**Warning: Edit contains graphic material** Heavy gunfire sounds in what is purportedly the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. Aleppo has been hit hard by government forces in the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad. In another video, a rebel fighter says his troops have killed 13 soldiers and destroyed a convoy of 11 vehicles. Amateur video like this gives glimpses of the ongoing conflict in Syria but cannot be independently verified by Reuters. With the fighting continuing, Britain has announced it will increase support for the opposition by five million pounds. British Foreign Secretary William Hague says the aid sends a message to countries that have blocked international action against Assad. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY, WILLIAM HAGUE, SAYING: "I think it is very important for countries that have blocked resolutions at the U.N. Security Council to know that if they do that the world does not stand still. In the face of that, well then we will try to assist people in other ways." Hague said Syrian doctors would also receive assistance in collecting forensic evidence that could be used in any future trials.
