Lights, cameras... and lots of action ahead of the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina. First Lady Michelle Obama walked through the venue ahead of her speech planned for Tuesday. Outside the convention center on the streets of Charlotte, a festival atmosphere. Delegates showed their support for Obama. And supporters urged citizens to vote. Its no surprise the economy and jobs are paramount on voters minds. (SOUNDBITE) (English) GAYLE BESS, OBAMA SUPPORTER, SAYING: "Definitely jobs at this point. Because so many people are out of work and it affects the whole family -- the children, no food on the table -- so jobs, I'd like to see more jobs." (SOUNDBITE) (English) JACQUELINE BRUBAKER, NEW ORLEANS RESIDENT, SAYING: " We still have a lot of problems It's still a really scary time for a lot of Americans and the president just needs to let people know that it's going to be OK..." A Reuters / Ipsos poll has Obama and his Republican opponent Mitt Romney tied at 45 percent a piece ahead of the November 6th election.
