Tensions continue along the Turkish border with Syria. On Friday Turkey scrambled two fighter planes along the border after a Turkish town was bombed by a Syrian military helicopter. There has been intense fighting between rebels and Syrian government forces in Syrian towns near Turkey -- an area strongly opposed to President Bashar al-Assad's rule. Fighting along Turkey's 560-mile border with Syria has repeatedly spilled over into Turkish territory in the past week,.
