Bruce Springsteen is joining Bon Jovi and Billy Joel for a televised, Hurricane Sandy benefit concert to aid the victims of the storm that devastated the U.S. Northeast. The show will air on the networks of NBC Universal and raise money for the Red Cross. Other singers scheduled to take part include Christina Aguilera and Sting. The telethon will air on Friday (November 02). Jodie Foster will receive the Cecil B. de Mille award for lifetime achievement at the 70th Golden Globes. Foster is a two-time Golden Globe winner for best actress: first for "The Accused," and then for "The Silence of the Lambs." She'll be given the award at the annual ceremony on January 13. Rihanna was named queen of the West Hollywood annual Halloween carnaval. The singer was on hand to accept the honor, posing for the cameras as she was crowned its royal ambassador. Finally, George Clooney is distantly related to America's storied 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, according to Ancestry.com. The finding came as Ancestry.com researchers were tracing the president's lineage in celebration of the upcoming film, "Lincoln." The men are allegedly connected through Lucy Hanks, who was Lincoln's maternal grandmother. It makes Clooney the president's half-first cousin five times removed.
