Thick black smoke darkened the skyline over the Syrian town of Binnish in this latest video posted to a social media website. Locals could be seen fleeing the main square shortly after activists reported government forces had started bombing the area. Reuters cannot independently verify the content of this video or others video purporting to show victims of the bombing waiting to be treated. On the outskirts of Damascus, a fighter jet banks moments before an explosion rocks the area. The explosion came as rebels reported they had attacked a military airport in the north --- the latest effort to cut off Aleppo, Syria's largest city from the capital.
