(SOUNDBITE) (English) FULBRIGHT FELLOW, PATRICK WILSON SAYING: "I'm really happy to see the results this way. I've been watching the election all fall and it was getting a little close the last couple of weeks so, I'm really glad. I think Obama did a lot better than I thought he was going to do actually so I didn't expect the result today, but this is awesome." In Sydney Australia, guests ate snacks and watched the results pour in. Some even cast a mock ballot on an iPad. And although no Americans live here... residents in Obama Japan celebrated his victory. In Japanese, "obama" means small beach-- but there's nothing small about their support for the U.S. President.
