--STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES -- Fighting in the Gaza Strip enters its fifth day. An Israeli missile kills at least 11 Palestinian civilians including four children in Gaza Sunday. Israel says at least 544 rockets fired from Gaza have hit Israel since Wednesday, killing three civilians and wounding dozens more. Against this backdrop of violence, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is expected to visit the region next week. In Gaza, expectations are low. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) GAZA RESIDENT, YOUSIF, SAYING: "I am not going to welcome welcome him because he came here during the last war and did nothing for us. And he will come again for the second war but will never do anything for us. He will speak about taking action but will not do anything ." Others are more hopeful. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) GAZA RESIDENT, FALAH IBRAHIM, SAYING: "We do welcome him, he is most welcome. We hope that the visit will be a positive one." Ban has already called on Israel and Hamas to "stop this dangerous escalation" in the Gaza Strip to avoid further bloodshed.
