U.S. Morning Call: Deere reports, more FB insiders sell off

Nov 21 - Equipment maker John Deere posted a higher quarterly profit; more Facebook board members unloaded company shares.

Let's pick up your morning call on Wednesday US stock futures point to a slightly higher open today. By -- expect to be low with Thanksgiving around the corner. European stocks also seeing limited gains after the EU IMF and ECB fail to reach a deal to -- the next payment for Greece's spell out. But all's not lost German Chancellor Angela Merkel says she sees a chance for a deal one European finance ministers meet again on Monday. In stocks to watch we've got John -- reporting earnings this morning. The world's largest Aggie equipment maker posting higher quarterly profit as stronger machinery sales in North America offset weaker global demand. -- also forecast higher sales and earnings for fiscal 2013. Also on our radar HP sources told Reuters on Tuesday that the SEC NF BI are launching a probing HP's claims of an accounting fraud. At a British software unit autonomy which led to eight point eight billion dollar write down. Shares of HP moving slightly up in the premarket all -- several brokerages cut their price target on the stock this morning. More space but insiders selling off shares. That number may drop from 84 point nine to about 84 point five for November. Judging from their reasons why companies IF RC's consumers focusing on the dangers -- this -- and that may translate into fall in the index.
