PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL Security in Pakistan is on high alert after a roadside bomb killed seven Shi'ite Muslims in the northwest city of Dera Ismail Khan. Four children were among the victims, while 30 more were wounded in the Saturday blast. Many fear an escalation of attacks by Sunni militants, who have targeted Shi'ites in a series of bombings over the last few days, killing more than a dozen. The bomb, set off using a television remote, following the banning of mobile phones, comes as Shi'ites observe the climax of the mourning month of Muharram. This city is a stronghold for al Qaeda linked Sunni hardliners who aim to destabilize Pakistan.
