A Pakistani-born Chicago businessman is sentenced to 14 years in prison for providing support to the Islamist group blamed for the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Justice Department documents say 52 year old Tahawwur Rana was planning to provide support for a terrorist plot in Denmark, and to a terrorist organization in Pakistan.
Rana, a Canadian citizen, is a former doctor in the Pakistani Army.
Rana's defense team plan to appeal his conviction and said they would discuss whether to appeal the sentence.
