It's going to be a busy week for British Prime Minister Theresa May. She's set to begin the formal process of leaving the EU on Wednesday. But Monday started with a focus on unity. May visited Scotland for the first time since she blocked its bid for a second independence referendum. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH PRIME MINISTER, THERESA MAY, SAYING: "So as Britain leaves the European Union and we forge a new role for ourselves in the world, the strength and stability of our union will become even more important. Not just for the good that standing together brings to our own people here at home but also for the good that we can do together in the world as a global Britain, a force for good, helping to build a better future for everyone. Brexit pressure is beginning to mount for May. Britain's manufacturers have told the PM to drop her threat that she might take the country out of the European Union without a new trade deal. The country's manufacturing lobby group says they would bear the brunt of trade barriers with the EU. (SOUNDBITE) (English) IG SENIOR MARKET ANALYST, CHRIS BEAUCHAMP, SAYING: "You can understand their reluctance to get involved in something of a more complex set of export arrangements. I think the best solution for all would be one where the UK does get a deal, but the PM does need to maintain this rather hardline stance so the European Union knows that she is not going to be messed around with." May says no deal would be better than a bad deal. And has decided to make control over immigration her priority for Brexit
