ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Four people were wounded, one critically, when gunfire broke out on New Orleans' famed Bourbon Street on Saturday night as crowds gathered for the city's annual Mardi Gras celebrations, police said. Police released a video they said was shot by a bystander which shows the suspects in an altercation with one of the victims. According to a police press release, the incident started when one of the victims became involved in a verbal argument with two unknown black men. The video show the two men leaving, and then one of the men returning with a third unidentified man. Both approach the victim and begin firing. The sound of gunshots and screams from the surrounding revelers can be heard on the video. Three other victims were wounded in the gunfire. One man was in a critical condition and in surgery, while another man and two women were in a stable condition, New Orleans Police spokesman Frank Robertson said. Crowds gather each year in the city's French Quarter during the celebrations that build to a climax on Fat Tuesday, which falls on February 12 this year.
