Heckled by protestors calling her name, a top Spanish politician arrives at court. Maria Dolores de Cospedal is number two in the ruling People's Party. She was testifying as a witness in the alleged corruption scandal that's rocked the country. Cospedal and other PP leaders - including Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy - are accused of receiving illegal payments from a slush fund run by the party's former treasurer, Luis Barcenas. Rajoy defended himself and other party leaders before Spain's parliament at the start of the month. He says all the allegations are false and has vowed to strengthen the country's anti-corruption laws and rules for the allocation of public contracts. The scandal has angered Spaniards, suffering from a lengthy recession, high unemployment and painful spending cuts. The judge is carrying out an investigation to see whether Barcenas should be put on trial on charges of bribery, tax evasion and other crimes.
