Aug. 19 - The singer is interviewed by the kid president to help raise awareness for World Humanitarian Day. Alicia Powell reports.

Beyonce sat down with 10-year-old comedian Robby Novak, also known as the Kid President, to help raise awareness for the United Nations' World Humanitarian Day. It's the organization's annual way to remember aid workers who have died while in the field and to promote humanitarian aid. Under the slogan "The World Needs More," the U.N. has partnered with celebrities and corporations to raise funds on social networks such as Twitter. During her chat with Kid President, Beyonce revealed what she thinks the world needs more of. SOUNDBITE: Beyonce, singer, saying (English): "Well, I think the world needs more strong, empowered men and women. So, I'd say I think the world needs more strength." In 2008 the U.N General Assembly declared August 19th World Humanitarian Day as a way to mark the 22 U.N. and aid agency workers who died during a 2003 bombing of the organization's Baghdad headquarters.
