Feb 12 - Fashion house Michael Kors is a darling on Main Street and Wall Street, leading other fashion companies to wonder if they should walk the same runway. Bobbi Rebell reports.

Michael of course did a victory lap after his fashion show basking in the success of what many would call. These iconic affordable luxury brand at the moment. For me as much fun as a fashion show as. -- and it's it's a wonderful way for me to express myself. But nothing's more fabulous than -- What you design all over the streets. That's when you know that it works in people's lives that's the most exciting thing. It's -- exciting to investors that stock up close to 70%. In the last year. And back has created lots of chatter about -- next to go from the runway to Wall Street. When bush retail analyst Corina Friedman is looking Tory Burch -- -- Making a couple of big hires from its competitors and you know the rumblings are that she's in the process of potentially filing for an IPO. There was some drama last year with her husband in the boardroom and I think that those -- have been settled anything that she's laying the ground work for a potential IPO. -- coming up next here. Late course -- is business is driven by outsized success and the accessories markets and by extreme mainstream appeal. Another name getting noticed by a Wall Street Marc Jacobs but treatment says it's a clerk here brand and its accessories have been a week. So with potential to be the powerhouse the course has become is limited. You have to be a little bit more mass focus. And I think course is doing a great job of that so having the Fashion Week this show is great but then. Into the interpretation for the mass market has been really on point. I'm you know he's taking a lot of iconic shapes in the handbag market and making them -- really accessible price points so you can go into a story and get. What seems to be like a trapeze back from saline for 300 dollars so you know he's doing really good job taking down. Some of the trends that are in on Fashion Week. Not being left out can speed will be -- new name on Wall Street parent company fifth and Pacific is changing its name -- fleck the star brand. Look for the ticker KATE.
