The normally busy trading floor at the New York Stock Exchange grounded to a halt - as it did 13 years ago. This time in a moment of silence. This pause taken at 9:25 to reflect on the roughly 3,000 lives lost just a few blocks away at the World Trade Center, as well as in D.C. and in Pennsylvania during the September 11 attacks. In 2001, the New York Stock Exchange was shut for trading for an unprecedented four trading days.
