The largest Elvis Presley exhibition ever put on in England prepares to open its doors. The retrospective showcases more than 300 artifacts from the Presley family archives, some of which have never been shown outside of Graceland, Elvis' Memphis, Tennessee home. From his famous stage jumpsuits to guitars, jewelry, a letter from President Nixon and even cars, the retrospective sheds some light on the King's life. Angie Marchese, the director of Graceland archives, says a display like this wasn't possible until now. SOUNDBITE: Angie Marchese, director of Graceland archives, saying (English): "We've been wanting to come to Europe for a while now and there were several cities that we would love to come to and we would love to go to but to bring Elvis to Europe this size for the first time, the O2 was just the perfect location and London was a central location for lots of people here in Europe. It all worked out well and we're very proud that we can show off Elvis here in London." Making that happen was no small task. All the items in the exhibit needed to be shipped to London from the U.S. SOUNDBITE: Angie Marchese, director of Graceland archives, saying (English): "It was a little stressful at times. We did air-ship most of it over and then the cars actually had to come by boat. To get the Lincoln into the exhibit, we actually had to take a wall down and we had to hoist it three stories in the air by a crane so that was a little dramatic but it was great so yeah, getting everything here was a little bit stressful but everything arrived safely." Among the items shown are personal souvenirs such as photos of Elvis and his daughter Lisa Marie and even her ID bracelet. 'Elvis at The O2: The Exhibition of His Life' will run from December 12 until August 2015.
