The rapper known as Vanilla Ice was out of jail on Thursday (February 19), a day after being arrested on a burglary charge that he says is a misunderstanding. The musician turned reality television star was charged with burglary of an unoccupied residence and grand theft, both felonies. The rapper allegedly stole furniture, a pool heater and other items from a neighbor's home. "Suge" Knight was hospitalized on Thursday (February 19). The rap mogul, who is charged with murder in a hit-and-run death, was supposed to appear in court on a separate camera theft case. Knight suffered from an unknown medical condition and was taken to the hospital. Knight has been jailed without bail after allegedly running over two men in January - one of whom died. Sean Penn visited French President Francois Hollande on Thursday (February 19) to discuss sending aid to Haiti. In addition to aid, Hollande and Penn discussed freedom of speech in light of the Charlie Hebdo attacks that killed 17 people in January.
