A song for the Ukrainian protesters killed one year ago -- more than a hundred -- During an uprising on Independence Square -- known here as Maidan -- that toppled Moscow-leaning President Victor Yanukovich... ...and culminated in war. Elsewhere in Kiev... The Ukrainian military shows off weapons seized from battle against pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine -- Weapons that prove Moscow's involvement, says Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Secretary, Oleksander Turchinov. (SOUNDBITE) (Ukrainian) SECRETARY OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL SECURITY AND DEFENSE COUNCIL, OLEKSANDER TURCHINOV, SAYING: "You can see here weapons, armored equipment that was either shot down or seized by our servicemen in the east of our country. This Russian equipment is killing civilians." Though a European-brokered ceasefire agreement took effect last Sunday, Kiev accuses Russia of continuing to send tanks and troops into eastern Ukraine. Moscow has always denied any involvement in the conflict... ...which has killed more than 5,600 people since last April.
