Gunfire rings out from the airport in Yemen's southern port city of Aden. Troops loyal to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi seized the international airport after battling rival forces ... in clashes that reportedly left at least six people dead. Hadi's troops deployed tanks and armoured cars against forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Saleh was an ally of the Houthi movement that now controls northern Yemen. Cell phone video shows Yemen's defense minister standing with armed soldiers. Political turmoil in Yemen has split the army and left the country increasingly cut off from the outside world.
