Despite the fact that Yemen's warring factions are scheduled to begin peace talks this coming weekend, heavy fighting continues. Saudi-led air strikes reportedly killed 19 across Yemen on Tuesday, a day after jets bombed the political headquarters of Ahmed Ali Saleh. He's the son of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, once a U.S. ally who is now supporting Yemen's Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. The Saudi led-coalition is fighting to push the Houthis out of the capital and reinstall Yemen's current president who is in exile in Riyadh. Despite two months of bombing, the Houthis remain entrenched in Sanaa. Air strikes also leveled the home of a general who's also supporting the Houthis. This resident claims the strike killed four and wounded two of the general's brothers. An estimated half a million people have been displaced by the ongoing fighting in the impoverished nation.
