A new chapter of cooperation for Washington and Tehran after a nuclear deal with major world powers was reached in Vienna. Under the agreement, sanctions imposed by the U.S., the EU and the U.N. will be lifted in exchange for Iran's agreement to long-term curbs on its nuclear program. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says Iran would stick to the commitments under the agreement. (SOUNDBITE) (Farsi) IRANIAN PRESIDENT, HASSAN ROUHANI, SAYING: "After 23 months of negotiating with the main six powers of the world, today we reached a turning point." U.S. President Barack Obama says the deal achieves what decades of "animosity" between the two foes has not. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING: "This deal offers an opportunity to move in a new direction. We should seize it." But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says nuclear pact marks a "historic mistake." (SOUNDBITE) (English) ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU SAYING: "What is wrong is exactly what Rouhani said 10:15:44 many nuclear bombs." Once the deal is fully implemented, some $100 billion in frozen assets will be made available to Tehran immediately... That would depend Iran fulfilling its end of the bargain.
